Countering Media Narratives on Yemen
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi.
There has been so much lies in the news recently that I felt it
was necessary to kind of make this video.
Uh,
the Saudis have been pushing so much propaganda in the
media that
it's kind of insane. So it is only right
to kind, kind of counteract that media push
by
doing our own kind of media work. So I'm here telling you, I'm
speaking to you now from Sana'a. I am a Sunni Muslim,
and, uh, I support, uh, Ansar Allah. I support Sana'a government.
Uh, I have never been Shia. I have never identified as
Shia. But we are, we are fighting the fight
to, to liberate our country, to liberate our people from,
from oppression, from blockade, from,
uh,
kind of Salafi, Wahhabi kind of movement that is
trying to choke people. You know, the reason I mention
these details is because it is...
I-in order to understand what the Saudis are doing, it's kind of
important to understand the history of
the Saudis, where they came from. Uh, if you just look up a
little bit of the Saudi history, you will find that it was
a pact between a religious scholar, Ibn Abdul Wahhab,
and Ibn Saud.
Ibn Abdul Wahhab was kicked out from three different cities
before, before meeting Ibn Saud and creating what is now known
as Saudi Arabia. You know, at the time of the Prophet,
there was nothing called Saudi Arabia. This country did not exist.
Uh, don't, uh, don't let them fool you by, uh, you know,
their, uh, emotional kind of warfare.
There is nothing at the time of Proph- of the Prophet
Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that is known as Saudi Arabia.
Literally, this country was founded a hundred years ago.
If you look it up, you will find exactly all the details
that I'm talking about. Pretty much Ibn Saud and Abd- Ibn
Abdul Wahhab, Ibn Abdul Wahhab was the religious clerk that
was kicked out
from three different cities before, uh, arriving to,
to the city of Ibn Saud. They pretty much agreed.
Ibn Abdul Wahhab made a proposition that he wants to do a revolution,
a religious revolution.
And Ibn Saud did not ask him about the creed or details or
anything of, of, of that sort. His only concern was
collecting money, taxes, and loyalty of
Ibn Abdul Wahhab, that he never leaves him for another
leader.
And, uh,
they--
Ibn Abdul Wahhab agreed to never leaving him, but he didn't agree
to the taxes. He made a better suggestion, that they will
conquer nearby towns and cities, Muslim towns and cities,
and, uh,
they will do like jihad against them.
And whatever war plunders they get from these neighboring towns or
cities, they can, uh, like, eat it, uh,
halal, you know. Taxes are haram, but, uh, eating the money
of a Muslim brother that they deemed an infidel is halal.
This is pretty much the foundation of Saudi Arabia.
They used the religion to
murder people, to plunder their resources.
And, uh,
by the end, the, the British Empire came in and helped
them out. And, uh, after the British Empire collapsed,
the, the US took over, the US Empire, I, I, I should
call it.
And, uh,
they have been, yeah, I mean, they have been doing the same
methodology since their inception.
They do...
Whenever they find a group of people that they think is a, is a
threat, they make a fatwa and make people hate them.
Just look at, look at history. They made a takfir on Saddam
Hussein. They made takfir on, uh, the, uh, Gamal
Abdel Nasser, the Egyptian president.
They made takfir on, uh, uh, al-Houthi, uh,
leader Hussein al-Houthi and his brother.
They pretty much do takfir on anyone that they
disagree with. They never do takfir on the US or
Israel or, or Britain.
These are good Muslims, Subhanallah.
So don't let them fool you by, you know, these long-ass
beards and these, uh, Muslim-looking people, "Oh,
we are representing Islam. We are representing
God's word." These are bunch of lies.
They have blasphemed against our people for so long.
Recently, they have been pushing the narrative
that we are targeting Mecca and
Medina
for the past three or four months.
These are just bunch of lies with zero truth to them.
We,
we are the ones that stood by Al-Aqsa Mosque when no one dared to do
anything besides, uh, condemnations and
statements. We were the ones that sacrificed with over three
hundred people as a result of Israeli airstrikes.
We are the ones who sacrificed maybe over thirty of our
ministers and government officials by Israeli
airstrikes. Why? Why did we do that?
Is it because we,
we, uh, we, we want to destroy Mecca, so we're gonna save
Al-Aqsa first? Doesn't make any sense.
They are using religion to justify
the war, the unjust war they are doing on Yemen.
Do not believe them. Find credible resources.
Do your own research. Do not believe, uh,
news you find on Al Jazeera or one of these international
media outlets because they, they're all belonging to the empire.
Thank you so much. See you in the next video.
