Discussion on Military Operations and War Plans

In one of these briefings, we did get the chance to have

a fairly detailed conversation about what the war plan would be

if we restarted military operations.

Yeah.

You- you've heard a preview that it would be a short duration-

Yeah

... um, plan. I will just say this. Their

plan is insane.

Um, it won't, it-

Why?

... it won't, it, it, it, it will

lead to devastating escalation and

the likely

destruction of our commitment to the rule of law.

Can you say more?

I mean, there's been open reporting as to, you know, what we may be planning and

the civilian infrastructure that we may be targeting.

Um, uh, I, I, I think the plan, the plan that

they have,

they have cer- They've been asked by the president to

develop a plan.

Whether they believe it, it will work or not, I do not know.

Um, but the plan that they have developed will lead,

in my view, to a prolongment and an escalation of

this war that will be devastating for our security interests
