[0:00](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement) Mecca. The Mecca Agreement. Look. Mecca is sacred to billions of people.

[0:07](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=7) They take that sanctity and use it by calling the agreement the Mecca Agreement, don't they?

[0:14](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=14) And when we give the agreement that name, it becomes something no one can question.

[0:21](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=21) They create the impression that we are protecting the holy lands.

[0:25](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=25) On the other hand, Who is Saudi Arabia, anyway?

[0:29](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=29) What role does Saudi Arabia play in the Middle East?

[0:31](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=31) What political move have you seen Saudi Arabia make other than acting as the United States' proxy in the region?

[0:39](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=39) And what political move have you seen it make other than being one of Israel's biggest collaborators?

[0:46](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=46) And now they've entered into a conflict with Yemen.

[0:49](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=49) I ask here, and I ask everyone: What problem do we have with the Yemeni people?

[0:54](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=54) What has Yemen done that goes against Turkey's national interests, my friends?

[0:59](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=59) We are already facing a game of deception.

[1:03](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=63) You exploit citizens' religious feelings and exploit their sacred values, Then you go and serve Israel and the United States.

[1:12](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=72) We must not fall into this trap. That is why I say we will oppose the Mecca Agreement in the strongest possible terms, and vote against it clearly and openly.

[1:23](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=83) I make the same appeal to all the members of parliament.

[1:26](https://preview.translate.mom/transcript/YhNURP28wuu8/transcript-of-critique-of-the-mecca-agreement?t=86) Do not put the lives of the children of the poor in this country at risk for the interests of America and Israel.
