There’s nothing we don’t know.

They made us sit there for three years and ripped us to shreds.

When I was in college, there was this bench. I’d go there every morning, without fail.

There was no fixed timing. There was nothing. No uniform either.

I’d take my time. Whichever train came without a crowd,

I’d get on that one.

I’d get down straight at Kattankulathur.

SRM?

Yes, same place.

I’m at SRM too.

Oh, what a coincidence!

Kattankulathur?

Yes.

Okay, okay.

I’d go there. Once I got there, there’d be two or three of us.

They’d split all the rest into pairs.

Yes, bro.

We wouldn’t have partners. And there was nothing else either.

There wouldn’t be any money in our pockets.

There’d be a bench. I’d dust it off, lie down,

and sleep.

Then I’d go. As far as I know, after my first year,

after that,

people started recognizing me outside. That was it.

I didn’t know much about cinema then.

Not that much.

I don't have that kind of experience.

Which route to take to get into acting, I don't know exactly.
