Discussion on Islamic Revolution and Prophets

I will say again, who promised

you an Islamic revolution?

Who made that promise?

Allah made it.

His Messenger made it.

Maulana Maududi made it. No, he did not.

No one made a promise.

“And upon us is only

clear conveyance.”

It is obligatory upon you.

You will be questioned about this.

If the revolution does not come,

what will you do?

Have we failed? No, we have not.

Maulana Maududi himself, in his

writings, wrote that there

were many prophets such that

because of whom worldly

governments were not established.

Rather, for most of them, they were not.

There are a few whose rule, in worldly terms,

you could say, was established over countries or

over nations.

There were many prophets who were killed,

crucified,

and sawn apart. There were many prophets whose

communities consisted of very few people.

So what does this

prove, that they failed? No. The real thing is this.

That you spend your entire life

living by the truth, and that you

when death comes, remain steadfast in the truth.
