Recently there have been increasing noises coming from certain players, it seems.

that we are in talks with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan in order to regain

the Bagram airfield; we are engaged in discussions and negotiations.

and apparently we are engaging, and we are not pursuing results by force.

and through political engagement we want to

therefore gain control of this area.

This is for our dear compatriots, for the people of Afghanistan,

for the Muslim people of Afghanistan; we assure them of this.

That regarding my land — even one inch of my land, even a grain of my land,

that it be negotiated with anyone — that is something that is absolutely impossible.

And it is not possible.

We need these people — those who brought the foreigners here,

they made themselves rulers here and wanted to govern by force.

To govern here, they were frightened and cowardly.

Out of their fear they sought refuge with the infidels.

By relying on Almighty Allah

we fear no one — neither any oppressor nor any bully.

And we also proved this during 20 years of jihad against the occupation.

It is not a new test against America; we have proven that we never fear.
