Importance of Individual Skills in Education

University study in technical fields,

the instrumental fields that

are easy to apply individually

are far more useful than fields that can only be applied under

a broader umbrella.

Is the idea clear?

The umbrella of the group,

a political umbrella without any interaction.

So sometimes, a person

does not want his efforts to go

into a field that does not serve Islam, for example.

Sometimes there is no direct service

to the community in which he lives,

it is merely political service, and he is not convinced by it.

He is free not to want that, brother.

This is where its value comes in,

if it— if it can be applied individually, he can

do it himself.

Consequently, his opportunities expand to

serve religion and the call to Islam through an individual skill.

As for a skill that can only be activated under a broader umbrella,

then here, I mean,

we are not saying that it is not a cause of progress or

strength or anything,

but sometimes you hold yourself back, you study it,

you go to the best university,

and your father is enthusiastic because you will support

Islam and Muslims through this specialization later.

You graduate and can't find anyone to use it

for you because it can't be used individually,

It can only be used in the context of someone

in authority doing something like this.

And it depends on the umbrella, whether it's an umbrella

that fights against good causes, then in the end you may have to,

because there are no job opportunities

available, so you go work in this field

and then come up with rationalizations.

And if it's a neutral umbrella that serves society,

thank God, that's a blessing.

And if it's otherwise, and so on, it depends. But an individual skill,

cybersecurity, technology, programming, whatever.

All of this can be used individually, so you can get into it

and serve an outreach organization or a reform institution.

You yourself can start a project

and so on, so that's better, I mean. Technical fields, yes,

are needed. They're among the fields where, for example,

young people,

reformers who are working,

who have studied or are studying in these fields,

are useful, good, excellent.

They can apply them and benefit from them themselves, they can

make a difference through them, they can start a project on their own,

they can create a project that serves an

outreach organization. All these are useful fields.

It's useful in that it serves

languages, but it's not one of its strengths.
