What Hamas is doing is a process of reasserting control and reimposing its authority over unarmed civilians in the Ghazal sector.

Days before the truce, it stormed the al-Mujaida family block in Khan Younis, killed many of them, and beat children on the pretext that they were from the al-Mujaida family.

Then after the truce, to confirm and further enforce its control, it besieged the al-Daghmash family block, killed more than 30 members of the family, searched the women, stole their jewelry and phones, and shaved their heads.

There were also many other aggressive, brutal acts carried out by Hamas against the al-Daghmash family — its women, children, youth, and men. It assaulted members of the al-Bakr family and shot at their feet, and it attacked many activists as well, threatening many of them and imposing house arrest on numerous activists.

She summoned many activists to Nasser Hospital and Shuhada al-Akhsa Hospital. Nothing is known about them to this moment. Since the first day of the truce they have been in the dungeons of torture in these hospitals, which are supposed to be havens of mercy but have become places of human savagery led by Hamas and inflicted on our people in the Gaza Strip.

She also broke the limbs of many young people, activists, and opponents of her rule and of her policies in managing the day-to-day conduct of the war, and in extorting money and imposing exorbitant taxes on citizens during the war.

They sold goods at very high prices that this helpless citizen cannot keep up with or challenge. Yesterday they smashed the feet of the citizen Wafi in Khan Younis with pipes and metal bars and then fired four bullets into his feet, and they also chased his brother, Abu Tamer Wafi, in Khan Younis.

Because they are activists on TikTok who, during the war, spoke what was on their minds and on the minds of many people in the Gaza Strip. What hurts us most — we, the people of Gaza — is the unconditional support for Hamas from those outside Gaza.

I mean especially legal professionals and specialists such as Muhannad Karaja, Bisan Jaber, and Essam Abdeen, who supported the executions but demanded that Hamas not film these brutal acts.

It is as if they are saying: killing a person seen in a forest is an unforgivable crime, while killing a peaceful people is a matter for debate. Hamas must be convinced that it should leave the political scene and the scene of governance in the Gaza Strip. It must also hand over its weapons — the weapons they claim are weapons of resistance are nothing more than weapons aimed at families.

They want to protect their members and their loyalists who have preyed on the people since the coup, throughout their years of rule, and even in the wars they brought upon our people.
