Tribute to Patrick Stewart and Star Trek

So, I’m urgently recording this video

right now, but,

you know, from Star Trek: The Next

Generation,

Captain Picard,

who was played by Patrick

Stewart, has passed

away, so

I’m deeply saddened, and

I would like to offer

my condolences, but

still, Captain Picard

was amazing.

Uh, with Captain Kirk

and Spock both absent, who would watch Star

Trek,

people said, yet he made that sequel to Space

Adventure a great success,

uh, creating that

worldview, and those wonderfully

eccentric,

Enterprise

crew members, uh,

bringing them all

together as Professor X.

The X-Men are also a damn, uh,

eccentric bunch.

The one who could bring them together

was, after all, Patrick

Stewart, and

from that creepy group,

I think Mugihito was also

wonderful.

There are so many memorable

moments. Um,

Captain Picard,

in one line directed at Q,

said that humans

are not governed by reason alone,

but are sometimes controlled by

hormones, for example.

Also, Captain Picard

said to Lieutenant Commander Data,

“I don’t think of you as merely

a robot.”

“Thank you, Captain.

I don’t think of you as merely

a carbon-based life-form,

either,”

that exchange was wonderful,

I thought. So,
