Scientists Mysteriously Go Missing in Antarctica

And then they went and picked up the, um,

the crew for a, a science laboratory one summer

out on, uh, Marie Byrd Land,

that they're meant to call in and say, "Yeah, okay, we're

fine." And they'd stopped calling, this

whole crew of a dozen or more scientists. So Brian S.

flew out there, and they're circling around,

we can't find them.

We landed in the camp. Like, they had just walked out

and left, uh,

food and supplies. They didn't even take their, uh,

their camping gear,

and they couldn't find them for over a week.

Now how do you survive on the surface of Antarctica without any

supplies in that freezing cold temperature?

And then all of a sudden they get a call. "We're back at base.

Pick us up." And when he got there-

Wow

... they were all white face. They would not speak a word about

what happened. Brian S. even walks up to one guy with a cup of

coffee and puts his hand on his leg and, "What did you guys

do? Why, why'd you go missing for a week?"
