Underground School Used as Shelter

The underground school in Komyshuvakha, built on the ruins of the destroyed local Dzherelo Gymnasium, was commissioned last October but it is now being used as a shelter for the settlement's official institutions.

Our children were studying in 2025. That was in November, in December, and after New Year's we couldn't resume in-person classes, because the security situation doesn't allow the children to safely get to the school.

So, as of today, um, it was decided to suspend in-person classes.

The enemy keeps showering Melnyk with guided bombs.

Each of our underground schools was a dual-purpose facility.

What was built in Kamyshevakha, all the administration is based there now, meaning all the Kamyshevakha authorities are there and all our, basically, drone operators are there.

It’s simply impossible to drive people out of a bunker like that.

They have all the smart equipment there, air purification, ventilation systems and food supplies are stocked there.

So, where there are underground schools, consider them to be impregnable fortresses that the enemy, basically, won’t dare to go into. They simply won’t be able to crawl in or enter there, basically.
