Tribute to a Religious Leader

Indeed, we belong to God.

Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return.

After a lifetime of devotion

Husseini, enduring, and tireless,

the exalted, celestial soul

of the steadfast mountain of the Revolution,

the compassionate father of the nation,

the leader and Imam of the Muslims,

His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini

Khamenei

in pursuit of the glory

of the sanctuary of the Islamic Republic of Iran,

drank the sweet, pure nectar of martyrdom

and joined the highest realm.
