Our Imams, too, gave their lives for Islam, not the economy.

A person wants the economy for themselves.

To get themselves killed so their own economy— That makes no sense.

To get their young people killed so cheap bread can be had.

That makes no sense. Those who talk about the economy and consider it the foundation of everything, because they don't know what it means to be human, think a human being is an animal that is nothing but food and drink.

It's just that this animal's food and drink differ from those of other animals.

One eats chelow kebab, the other bread, but both are animals.

Those who consider the economy the foundation of everything, They consider human beings animals.

An animal, too, lives entirely for its economy.

The donkey is the foundation of everything, and its foundation, too, is its economy.

They don't understand what a human being is.

Production is the foundation. The foundation is rational, divine beliefs.

Not the stomach as the foundation. Those who consider the economy the foundation, have degraded human beings from the level of humanity to that of an animal, like all other animals.

As you heard, Imam Khomeini is criticizing Marx's famous theory, which held that the economy is the foundation of everything.

The same Marx whom the leftists adored. The irony is that Imam Khomeini pulls the rug out from under Marx, but now they're trying to imply that Iran's revolution was a leftist revolution.

They attribute this lie, “The economy is for donkeys,” to someone whose literacy campaign enabled several million Iranians who couldn't even read and write their own names to become literate.

The Relief Committee, the Housing Foundation, and the Reconstruction Crusade It led to the creation of a lot of civil infrastructure and helped millions of underprivileged people.
