Analysis of Religious Texts

If some peoples are favored one day for their opinions,

Ali was favored by his virtues and

the words of the Messenger of God,

whose words are truth,

though false noses be enraged by them:

“You are to me, O Ali, a champion,

like Aaron to Moses, my brother and companion.”

He called him at Badr,

and he answered his command, then hastened

to fight for God's cause. He kept prevailing over them

with him, as though he were a shooting star, bending

with piercing legs.
