Border Tensions Between Poland and Russia

Just after midnight,

I received word from the Border Guard that

suspicious activity had been observed on the

Polish-Russian border. Individuals

with flashlights. We very quickly mobilized

the appropriate forces and resources there,

and

managed to prevent

attempts at provocation, if that was their intention.

This tension, this escalation by Russia.

It may continue. It's not as if today we avoided

any dramatic events last night, but we

must remain very focused and mobilized so that we can

prevent possible sabotage or provocations,

not only at the border,

but also inside the country. So I urge you to remain

fully mobilized.
