Scorpion Behavior and Zodiac Symbolism

Me encantaría saberlo.

Are you aware that scorpions have been known to commit suicide?
If they're cornered and feel threatened, they can turn their stinger against themselves and take their own life.
I found multiple recordings of this happening online and countless testimonials as well. Despite this evidence, there are those who claim this is an urban legend or myth. This is mentioned in the Book of Thoth in the section about the death card, which was ruled by Scorpio. It says the sign is formally
divided into three parts. The lowest is symbolized by the scorpion, which was supposed by early observers of nature to commit suicide when finding itself ringed with fire or otherwise in a desperate situation. This represents putrefaction in its lowest form.
Putrefaction, by the way, is the process of decomposition.
In alchemy, this step was known as nigredo or blackness.
Moving on, it says, "The strain of the environment has become intolerable, and the attacked element willingly subjects itself to change." As one of the most mysterious and passionate signs in the zodiac, I find this self-destructive trait in line with everything else related to Scorpio.
What do you make of this? I'd love to know.
